March 26, 2008 | Marshall, MO- The Graceland softball team was in Marshall, MO trying to get back on track in the conference season. After losing pitcher Carrie Wilson to a broken hand, the Jackets have struggled of late.

Graceland fell behind early and big in game 1 today but came thundering back late. Trailing 8-1 going into the final inning of play, Graceland put up six runs but fell just short of the win falling 8-7. Game two was postponed due to heavy rain that began falling between games. No makeup date has been scheduled yet.
Graceland will next be playing this weekend in the Avila tournament this Friday and Saturday. Times are still to be determined so stay in tuned to the Graceland website for updates and info.
