March 25, 2008 | Box Game 1 | Box Game 2Lamoni, IA- The Jacket baseball team was hosting Lindenwood University in Lamoni on Tuesday afternoon on one of the rare nice days of late. Unfortunately Graceland's struggles continued both with the bat and defensively.

The Jackets played Lindenwood tight in game one knotting them to a 0-0 tie going into the sixth inning. Lindenwood tallied three runs in the top half of the frame and the Jackets put up two in the bottom half on a solo home run by Samuel Felman and an RBI single by second baseman Carlos Rodriguez. Lindenwood however would strike twice more in the top of the seventh and Graceland eventually fell 5-2. In game two the Jackets struggled to have much of anything go their way falling 19-4 in a 5 inning game.
Graceland will host Simpson College tomorrow in Lamoni at North Park. First pitch is scheduled for 1:00 pm.
