Canton, MO- After avoiding nasty weather for the last few weeks, Graceland was finally able to get a baseball game in yesterday.  Unfortunately, a rusty baseball team dropped their second straight conference twin bill.  The Jackets lost to Culver Stockton 4-3 in game one, and 4-3 in game two, losing on walk-off singles in both games.

Junior Kansas State transfer Sean Smith drove in two of the three runs for the Jackets in game one and senior Chris Hayes gave up four earned runs in the loss.  In game two, Smith had two more hits and drove in one run, junior Brian Contreras drove in a run as well and the Jackets third run was unearned.  Tyler Wright struck out three, walked two, and gave up four earned runs in the loss.

The Jackets next play Central Methodist on Saturday in a double header in Fayette, MO.  First pitch is scheduled for 1:00 pm.
