March 14-15, 2008 | Salina, KS- The softball team was in Salina, KS this last Friday and Saturday participating in the Sterling Tournament. Graceland played twice on Friday, dropping both games, and won their only contest on Saturday.

Friday, Graceland lead the day off against Friends Univeristy, losing 4-2. In the nightcap, the Jackets faced Sterling, the host of the tournament. Graceland didn't put up their best fight, falling in that game 9-1. Saturday showed a little more light for the Jackets as they won their only game 7-3 over Southwestern College (KS), a team they defeated last weekend by a score of 15-3.
Graceland next plays Friday at Central Methodist in a conference double header.
