Women's Soccer Wins First In Spring Tourney

The women's soccer team participated in the Grand View Futsal Tournament on 3/8/08. The Lady Jackets won first place for the second year in a row. Graceland entered two teams and ended up playing each other in the semi-finals. Both teams did really well, with one team going on to the finals against an Ankeny team. Graceland ended up winning in sudden death overtime off a corner kick by Ashley Hennessy to Shay Eskridge who headed it in the near post.
