Oklahoma-The Yellowjacket baseball team traveled south to warmer weather for the weekend so they could continue tuning up for their conference season.  Graceland competed in Oklahoma, Thursday through Sunday last week kicking the long weekend off in Bartlesville against Oklahoma Wesleyan.

In game one Graceland played a tough game but lost to Oklahoma Wesleyan 4-3 on a three-run homer in the bottom of the sixth.  Friday and Saturday took the Jackets to Muskogee, Oklahoma for four games against Bacone College.  On Friday, Graceland dropped a double header to Bacone losing 6-5 & 7-3.  Saturday brought a positive note for Graceland as they split with Bacone, losing game one, 7-2 and winning game two, 5-3.  Before heading home Sunday, the Jackets stopped through Chickasha, Oklahoma for a double header against The University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma.  Graceland would split Sunday's double header falling in game one, 8-6 and coming out victorious in game two, 13-11.

The Jackets now stand at 3-8 overall and are set to play again this coming weekend against The University of Sioux Falls in a two-day double header series.  These games are currently weather pending so stay in touch to the Graceland atheltic website for full details.  Full stats of all Graceland's games can be found on the Yellowjacket baseball schedule page.
