It was a high energy game from start to finish, with both sides going back and forth exchanging leads. In the end it was the Jackets that came up with the big plays to seal the win. "We played with unbelievable heart and focus tonight," said Coach Quinn after the game. "Our seniors came up huge tonight. Kevin Potter made some big steals and Tyson hit some really clutch shots down the stretch. Mike Malat was really keyed on defensively and played with good patience. He made a big steal to put us ahead towards the end of the game. We're excited about how well we're playing, but our focus right now is to go down and play a tough MidAmerica team on Thursday," he concluded.
The Jackets finish off the regular season with a trip to Olathe, KS on Thursday, February 21 to take on the defending national champion MidAmerica Nazarene Pioneers. Tip time is set for 7:30 and should prove to be a great conference matchup.
