The Lady Jackets had a rough night Monday, losing their final home game to Lindenwood University 87-70. With the loss The Jackets come to 14-14 overall with a 7-12 record in the HAAC. Keturah Spotwood gave a good performace coming through with 18 points and 9 rebounds. Cassie Butler added 13 points and 6 rebounds.
Graceland got off to a slow start, falling down by as many as 27 at halftime. The Jackets played well in the second half however, winning the half by ten points. "It's been a tough end of the season for us." said Coach Butler after the game. "We just turned the ball over too many times and didn't execute well," he concluded.
The last game for the Jackets is on Thursday, February 21 against MidAmerica Nazarene University in Olathe, KS. Tip time is set for 5:30 pm.
