The Graceland women's basketball team was in Atchison, KS Saturday for a 2:00 match-up with the Benedictine Ravens.  Since losing point guard Ieshia Randall on Feb. 7 to a hand injury, the Lady Jackets dropped the last 4 conference games in a row before today's game and were desperate to pick up a conference win.  The difficult part for the Jackets would be that they would have to do it on the road against the conference leader, the Benedictine Ravens.  Coming into the game the Ravens were 24-3 overall and 16-1 in the HAAC.  The Jackets would fall 80-63 to a very good Benedictine team.

"Benedictine is an excellent team," Coach Butler said following the contest.  "Our season comes down to Monday when we host Lindenwood on senior night.  If we can win, we'll qualify for the HAAC playoffs," Butler concluded.

The Jackets had 3 scorers in double figures today as Cassie Butler had 17, Katie Lemburg had 13, and Adrieanna Hooks added 10. Graceland now stands at 14-13 overall and 7-11 in HAAC play.  They'll finish out their home season on Monday February 18th, Senior Night, at 5:30 p.m. vs. Lindenwood University.
