The Lady Jackets were in Springfield, Missouri this afternoon for a conference tilt with the Evangel Crusaders. Graceland defeated Evangel earlier in the season, but today short three players, the Jackets struggled and fell 79-52.
Senior Kristin Osborn had 14 points and 4 rebounds in the losing effort and Paris Williams added 8. "It was tough today playing short handed, but give all the credit to Evangel," Coach Butler said following Satruday's contest. "They are a very well coached team, and worked hard today for the win," Butler concluded.
Graceland fell below .500 in the conference with the loss at 7-8 and stand at 14-10 overall. The Jackets next play Monday at the Closson Center vs. Avila. Tipoff is set for 5:30.
