October 13, 2007 Lamoni, IA- Today's game between two top ranked teams was billed as the matchup of the year for both teams. Lindenwood came into today's matchup 6-0 overall and ranked #7 nationally. Graceland came in at 5-1 overall and ranked #13 nationally. It proved to be a great game for the first 25 minutes. After that, it was all Lindenwood. Graceland got up 16-14 early in the second quarter on a blocked punt/safety by DB Mark Bickhem. Shortly thereafter, quarterback Garrett Graves threw an interception on an out route that was returned all the way to the one yard line. Lindenwood would score on the next play and never looked back. The Jackets were beaten by a final of 48-16. Graceland travels to Atchison, Kansas for the Benedictine Homecoming next week. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:00.
