Lamoni-On Monday night women's basketball traveled to Avila University. Graceland was looking for a big road win in the conference.
The Yellowjacket offense started out the first half shooting the ball extremely well. In the second half the shots came when needed but were not as consistent. The combination of tough defense and great shooting gave the team the momentum that carried them. As the last second ticked away Coach Butler felt relief as the women pulled off a tough win. He later commmented, "it was a defensive effort, a great road win."
Graceland will travel next to Liberty, Missouri to face #13 William Jewell College on Thursday, January 10th at 5:30pm.
