Graceland Hosts Non-Conference Grand View

Lamoni, IA- The Yellowjackets were back in action tonight for a non-conference match against neighbor Grand View College from Des Moines. After losing four of their last six matches, Graceland would not only get back on track with a 3-0 win, they have now defeated Grand View twice this season and have not lost a game to them going 6-0 in the two matches this year. The Jackets would win with scores of 31-29, 30-20 and 30-14 gradually improving each game they played tonight.

“We made some major changes in the starting lineups tonight, it really helped,” said Coach McDole following Monday’s match. “We were really working on changing some mechanics tonight in order to improve and it still shows. Tomorrow night is a very important conference matchup, so hopefully we can get back on track and get our mechanics straight.”

Graceland goes back into conference play tomorrow night as they travel to Benedictine University for a 7:00 start.
