Jackets Notch Second Straight Conference Win

Canton, MO- The Jackets were in Canton, MO. Tuesday night for a conference match-up against the Culver Stockton Wildcats. Following a win Saturday, Graceland really needed to notch another conference win as they push for one of the top four stops in the HAAC. The Lady Netters got one Tuesday as they put the Wildcats away in 3.

"Culver Stockton has had a tendency to come out strong in game one this year," Coach McDole said via phone following the match. "Game one was the only game we didn't really dominate. After getting down however (in the first game), we really fought hard for the win. Following game one, we seemed to take off. Game one catapulted us through the rest of the match. We were strong again serving, so was our net defense and our attacking. Our improvements in these areas are a direct correlation to our recent success. We just need to keep it going," McDole concluded with.

The game scoring was as follows: 31-29, 30-25, & 30-10.

Graceland will now have a week off until their final regular season game next Tuesday, in Lamoni, against the Avila Eagles at 7:30 pm.
