10-6-07 Cross Country
The cross country team was in action Saturday morning on a warm and windy day in Kenosha, Wisconsin. After a tiring trip north, both the men’s and the women’s teams would run a very strong race on what would prove to be a very tough hilly course. Following the race, Coach Allshouse said, “The conditions were not ideal today even though it was really warm. We ran well, I’m very proud of our kids.” The men’s team finished in 1st place for the second straight week, scoring 16 pts only one point from a perfect score. The women finished 6th on the day with 151 points. Coach Allshouse and his cross country squads will be back in action next Saturday in the Mid States Championship in Winfield, Kansas.
