Article Body: Canton, MO-The Lady Jackets were in Canton, MO Tuesday night opening up conference play in the always difficult HAAC. The Jackets trailed by as many as 13 in the first half before cutting the lead to 2 at halftime, and eventually winning by 2; 60-58. With the win the Jackets collect their first conference win of the season and run their overall record to 6-2.

Kristin Osborn had 17 points for Graceland, Ieshia Randall had 15 points and 4 assists, and Keturah Spotwood recorded the first Jacket double-double of the season pouring in 15 points to go along with 12 boards.

“The girls really played hard tonight on the road,” Coach Butler said from Canton. “We are playing shorthanded as we battle through some injuries right now. So to come on the road in our HAAC opener and get a win is huge,” Coach Butler concluded with.

The Lady Jackets hit the road again Saturday for a daytime conference matchup this Saturday at Missouri Valley. Tipoff is set for 2:00.
