Jackets Tipoff Thanksgiving Swing

Yankton, SD- The men's basketball team was in Yankton, South Dakota tonight kicking off their Thanksgiving trip against Mount Marty College. The Jackets fought hard but came up just short in a closely contested battle. Mount Marty defeated the Jackets 64-59 pulling away in the final minutes of the game.

"The key for us is to maintain positive thoughts and look forward to our next opponent; not look back, Coach Quinn said following the game. "We need to keep working on the same things, turnovers and rebounding. Defense was ok tonight, we just turned the ball over too much to get a scoring attack going," Quinn concluded with.

The Jackets will stay up north during the Thanksgiving break as they'll participate in the Northern State University tournament Friday. Graceland will play Northern State in an exhibition at 8:00.
