Tiffany Stone Signing (7-6-07)

Lamoni, IA- In case two Stone weren’t enough, the Graceland University women’s volleyball has added another. Tiffany Stone out of Wichita, Kansas has signed a letter of intent to join her sisters Jennifer and Megan Stone on the Yellowjacket’s squad next fall.

A 5’10” product of Wichita Heights High School, Stone brings a wealth of volleyball playing experience with her as she plans to join an already talented group of players at Graceland. A dual-sport standout at WHHS in both volleyball and soccer, Stone’s athleticism and work ethic should serve her well as she makes the transition into a collegiate volleyball player.

Named as an honorable mention All-Conference player during her time in the prep ranks, Stone also competed for the highly-regarded Molten Shockwave during her time at the club volleyball level.

It seems pretty obvious at this point that long-time Graceland volleyball coach Stew McDole is very delighted to add another Stone to the GU roster.

"Tiffany brings a lighted smile with her to the court," said McDole. "You need only to look at her face to sense how much she loves this game and wants to succeed. She has good size, solid training and great enthusiasm. She will be fun to play with. I expect her to be coachable and anxious to grow her considerable talents. Her playing style is aggressive; a good match to Graceland. We are looking forward to her future with Graceland Volleyball," continued the Yellowjacket's leader.

An active student off the court as well, Stone was involved with the Christian Crusaders in Action, SADD, and the German Club as well as being named to the Honor Roll throughout her high school career.

While currently undecided on a major in the classroom, Stone should have plenty of time to figure it out as she competes for the Jackets on the court for the next four years.

Tiffany is the daughter of Lila and Chris Stone and the sister to Megan, Jenny, and Chris.
