Lamoni, IA-
With the 2007 regular season quickly approaching, the Graceland University men’s soccer team continues to tweak its roster with yet another quality addition in Zoran Kukic.

A product of the Winstars Soccer Academy in Canada, Kukic joins the Yellowjackets this fall and will be competing with former Winstars teammate Fillip Prostran. Both players have played under the very successful tutelage of coach and Winstars Soccer Academy Director, Bobby Graham.

“Zoran was a pleasure to coach and to work with over the past many months, he has focused on the goal and he has been very dedicated and loves to play the game of soccer,” said Graham about the signing of Kukic to a national letter of intent to attend GU.

“He is a very good central midfield player and can score goals and create alot of opportunities for his team,” said Graham. With the addition of Kukic, the Yellowjackets roster is now beginning to take shape into a team that hopes can make a strong challenge at defending its first ever NAIA soccer national championship in 2006. Head coach Ivan Joseph certainly believes that Kukic can help make that goal a reality.

“Every time we get a player from Bobby Graham we are excited because we have had success in the past with his recruits and we know this time it won't be different,” said Joseph, the 2006 Brine National Coach of the Year.

With his unselfish type of play and his ability to use his vision to create scoring opportunities for his team, Kukic should make an immediate impact this fall.
