Erik Coffey

Run Game Coordinator - Offensive Line Coach

Erik will start his third season coordinating the Yellowjackets running game, coaching the offensive line and tight ends.  Before returning to Graceland, Coach Coffey was an assistant coach for 6 years and head football coach for 2 years at South Harrison High School in Bethany, MO.  While at South Harrison, Erik helped guide the Bulldogs to 3 State Semi-final appearances and 6 conference championships.   

Playing Experience

Coffey was a four year letterman at Graceland University from 1994-1997 while playing on the offensive line.  Coffey was selected as an all conference offensive lineman for three years at Graceland and was also voted as a team captain and most valuable offensive lineman as a senior.  Coach Coffey was an offensive lineman and defensive lineman for Chariton High School in Chariton, Ia.

Education

Erik graduated from Graceland University in 1999 with a BA in Physical Education and Health and holds a masters degree in Secondary Administration from William Woods University. 

Personal

Erik is married to B.G. (Guffey), who graduated from Graceland in 1995.  They have two children, Carci and Crae. Other than coaching, Erik enjoys fishing and hunting.
