What better way for your class to be remembered than through the gift of education.

The past few years we have asked the 50 year honor class to consider creating an endowed scholarship in their class name.  Once established, scholarships would be awarded to students each year from the Class of 1964 Endowed Scholarship.

The University requires a minimum of $10,000 to establish an endowment and I believe your group has the passion and love for future generations of Gracelanders to get it done.  Humbly, I ask each of you, whether you plan on attending Homecoming or not, to think hard about supporting this project by making a special gift to the Class of 1964 Endowed Scholarship.

I think that one of the great attributes of a project like this is that it is a cause you can keep giving to long after we celebrate your 50 years in October. You can earmark or restrict all of your future gifts to the endowment.  My last thought on this is that you could also make a bequest in your wills or trusts for a gift to Graceland restricted to the Class of 64 Endowed Scholarship. The larger the fund, the more students you can help realize the dream of a Graceland experience.

What a better way to leave a lasting legacy than by helping future students attend Graceland!
