CHEM1430 Principles of Chemistry I (3-0) 3 s.h.
An in-depth study of the general principles, theories, and methods of chemistry. Stress is placed on the solving of mathematical problems. Intended for natural science majors and others who require a strong background in chemistry. Prerequisite: Two years of high school mathematics or MATH1280, and one year of high school chemistry or CHEM1310. Corequisite: CHEM1431 Principles of Chemistry I Lab.
