Director of Financial Aid Services
Graceland University has an opening for a Director of Financial Aid Services on the Lamoni, IA campus. This position is responsible for the university's awarding of federal, state and institutional aid according to federal and institutional awarding guidelines. This position develops, writes and implements institutional policies and procedures in collaboration with the various committees to facilitate the awarding of aid for numerous programs. The Director supervises financial aid department staff and reports to the Vice President of Enrollment. Other responsibilities include administering restricted scholarship programs, presenting to student/parent groups, and working with administration/staff across the university.
Qualifications: The preferred candidate will have a Master's Degree in Finance, Higher Education, or other related field. He or she will have an in-depth knowledge of U.S. Department of Education Regulations, excellent computer skills, strong analytical skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Five years experience in a comprehensive financial aid office is required with increased supervisory responsibilities over that time. The successful candidate will have strong problem solving skills and a strong commitment to customer service.

Associate Director of Sandage Center for Free Enterprise and Entrepreneurship
Graceland University has an opening for a full-time, 9-month Associate Director for the Sandage Center for the Study of Free Enterprise and Entrepreneurship beginning in August 2010. This position will be responsible for Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) including weekly meetings and goal setting with student project leaders/teams, planning and leading domestic and international trips, modeling professionalism, coaching students, and managing project work. Requirements: Bachelor's degree, plus at least 2 years experience in project management or supervisory role. The successful applicant will be very organized, detail oriented, flexible, possess good communication/verbal skills and be entrepreneurial minded with ability to find creative solutions to problems/opportunities.
