Building Mission Statement
The Shaw Center for the Performing Arts serves as a teaching environment offering superior, professional experiences that complement the fine arts academic program while providing meaningful content and connections that prepare and develop students for lifelong participation in the arts.
Policy on the Usage of The Shaw Center for the Performing Arts
- First priority: College convocations and academic programs of the Fine Arts and other divisions.
- Second priority: Performances and exhibitions sponsored by the Fine Arts and other divisions.
- Third priority: Religious gatherings and programs of other groups, as deemed appropriate by the Program Director.
Performance Information
Performances begin at 7:30 p.m. unless noted differently. The Shaw Art Gallery hours are Monday thru Friday, 9 a.m.-12 noon and 1-4 p.m.
Box Office Information
Tickets go on sale at the Shaw Center Box Office (641.784.5296) one week prior to the event OR tickets may be purchased at the Shaw Center Box Office one hour before curtain time. You may also request tickets through email at shawboxoffice@graceland.edu
