Music majors and Music Majors with Teacher Certification participate in courses in music theory and analysis, aural theory, music history and literature, conducting, music technology, ensemble and individual performances. Coursework is supported by a music laboratory which provides computer-assisted instruction in music theory, synthesis, composition and desktop publishing of professional quality manuscripts.
Vocal, keyboard and instrumental soloists and ensembles perform on and off campus in a variety of settings.
Performance opportunities are available for majors and non-majors.
