Dr. Aly joined the Graceland faculty in August 2009. Over the past 20 years, he has taught in a variety of areas, serving not only as a faculty member but in numerous other areas including coaching swimming. He is an internationally known swim coach whose teams regularly participated in international swim meets, at the World and Olympic levels.

Dr. Aly holds a Ph.D. in Physical Education, from Whittier College, California, USA & Helwan University, Egypt.  He also earned bachelor's and master's degrees in Physical Education and Sport Science.

Most recently Dr. Aly served as a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse in the  Department of Exercise and Sport Science.

Dr. Aly and his wife have four sons.
