Guardian, Visionary, Builder or Pioneer
Merit scholarships are awarded up to $10,000 for incoming freshmen based on high school GPA and composite ACT or combined SAT I scores. For new high school graduates who have earned 12 or more semester hours of postsecondary credit, the Merit scholarship will be based on the higher of the high school or the postsecondary cumulative GPA. For transfer students who have attempted 12 or more semester hours, Merit scholarships are awarded up to $8,000, based on college GPA.
Students can receive one additional premier award with their Merit award. These include Dean's, Honors, Presidential, Vision, and Wallace B. Smith.
These awards effective for
students enrolling beginning
in the Fall 2010 semester.
