Going Off-Campus
While there’s a lot to do on the Graceland campus, sometimes you just need a change of scenery. And boy you can really change the scenery around here fast!Take a few steps off-campus and into Lamoni and you can have a cuppa joe at the local coffee shop, dance the night away at Choices, our local student hangout, or grab a movie at the Coliseum. There’s also hiking and biking at Nine Eagles State Park, Slip Bluff, and on Lamoni’s new three mile bike trail.
If you need to go farther off-campus, you can get to the restaurants, major league sports, and entertainment opportunities of Des Moines in just about an hour, Kansas City in less than two hours, and Omaha in around three.
