ACE Program
One of the ways Graceland supports its effort to meet the student needs is through the Accelerated College Education Program (ACE). The Iowa Post Secondary Option Act opens the door to any high school junior or senior with at least a 3.0 GPA or with the recommendation of their school counselor or principal to enroll in our classes and earn dual credit - three college credits as well as high school credit. This is an opportunity to get a jump start on a college career and to explore the world of Graceland academic life.Graceland University offers courses that are completed via the Internet. The cost for these classes is $250 and this includes admissions fees, registration fees, and all books associated with the course.
These courses can be completed by students in their own homes providing they have Internet access or in the school library or computer lab. Because there is no specific time that these classes meet, they allow busy students the flexibility to complete college level work within the framework of their unique schedules.
Another way that Graceland facilitates high school students' college education needs is by offering Graceland classes right in their high schools. The instructors for these courses have Master’s degrees and the approval of our faculty.
Accelerated College Education (ACE) classes like this meet in high school class rooms all the way from Iowa to Arizona. If you have questions about any of these exciting opportunities give me a call today.John Franklin
