CCLP Loan Information
Program participants are eligible for a $2,000 per year student loan renewable up to four years. Upon satisfactory completion of all program requirements, the loan can be forgiven, so that there is no financial obligation for the student to repay the funding.
In order to qualify for loan cancellation following graduation, participants must:
1. Satisfactorily complete the academic requirements.
2. Satisfactorily complete the yearly (experiential) requirements.
3. Remain in the program for a minimum of 2 years.
4. After graduation, give one year in service to the church (volunteer or full-time) for every year spent in the program.
$2000.00 of the loan is cancelled at the end of each year of service with the following exception: one year of full-time work for the church equals two years of service.
