1994 Shawn McFarlin served five years on active duty with the Air Force from 1992-97. He served with a Special Operations weather team and was stationed in Florida, South Korea and Texas. He says, “I was deployed to all continents except Antarctica.” He also served in Bosnia, Somalia and Haiti. He lives in Des Moines, IA.
