1976 Don Bowerman served in the Navy during the Vietnam War from 1969-72, for several years in the Army Reserve and then for more than 25 years in the Coast Guard Reserve. (HC55CHEV@aol.com) Steve McCrosson Steve McCrosson served in the Army for 25 years and retired in 1999. He says the highlight of his military career was six years working for the "United States presidency," assigned to the White House as a communications specialist. He helped keep all of the tactical and functional abilities of the President and his staff working smoothly when the President was traveling around the country and the world. Steve is now General Manager for Herald Publishing House, the publishing arm of Community of Christ and he serves as the Military Ministries coordinator for the church – this group has ongoing communication with 200 or more service members around the world.
