1969 Ron Barker served in the Army during the Vietnam War from 1969-72, for 17 months in Japan. He was stationed with a cryptographic unit at an airbase, monitoring Russian activity in Mongolia. Trained in military intelligence, Ron's unit was trying to figure out what the "other guys" were doing. He lives in Boise, ID.
