1953 James F. "Jim" Dixon served in the Army from 1956-58, most of that time in Germany attached to the 29th Infantry Regiment of the 10th Infantry Division. He lives in Portland, OR. Kozuki served in the military for a total of 24 years, first in the Army/Air Force combat engineers in Korea during the war; as an Army reservist; and then for 20 years on active duty with the Army. He served in Vietnam during the war as an interrogator and interpreter. In the 1970s he was involved in covert undercover work with military intelligence. He lives in West Des Moines, IA. (515-225-8423) Keith Olson served in the Army from 1953-55, 13 months in Korea not long after the armistice was signed. He worked as a high-speed radio operator in the Signal Corps. He says it was still dangerous a year after the war ended. A deserter from the South Korean Army killed a soldier in his area and a dozen others were killed. He lives in Galesburg, IL. (309-343-8891) Ward E. Serig served in the Navy for more than 27 years, from 1953-1982. He was a Naval Aviator stationed in San Diego, CA, aboard the USS Okinawa, at Norfolk, VA, in a campaign in the Dominican Republic, in Vietnam, at the Naval Station Roosevelt Roads, Puerto Rico and at NAS Whiting Field, Milton, FL.
