Paul F. Barritt served in the Navy from 1951-54 as an electronics technician. He was stationed on the USS Nemasket, a tanker, carrying aviation fuel to Pacific islands, and on the USS Electron, a supply ship ("floating warehouse") in Japan. He also served in the Aleutians. He lives in McCormick, SC. (864-391-2878)

Ward L. Barritt served in the Navy from 1951-54, at the Naval Air Station in Atlantic City, NJ. He was a link trainer early, then for two years taught pilot and air crewmen survival techniques to employ should they be shot down. He lives in Venice, FL. (941-488-1396)

William R. Marsh served with the Army Security Agency first in Germany, then at Supreme Headquarters, Allied Powers Europe, at the communication center in Paris. He lives in Independence, MO. (816-257-9665)

Eugene C. Masterson served in the Army Air Corps, ferrying B-29s back to the states just after WW II ended. In 1950 he was recalled and flew 36 bombing missions during the Korean War, from an airbase in Japan. He received the Distinguished Flying Cross. He lives in Sequim, WA. (360-460-7060)

Charles H. "Bud" Scott spent 18 months at an Army base in Kokura, Japan during the Korean War, attached to an engineering combat battalion. He remembers, not too fondly, "We dug ditches a lot." Bud also had the chance to play baseball and basketball with teams at the base and these activities he remembers more fondly. He lives in Honolulu, HI. (cscott@aloha.com)
