1941 Harold D. "Hal" Hawley served as a Navy pilot and instructor during WW II (from 1942-45) and the Korean War. He was a PBY Catalina seaplane instructor at a base in Corpus Christi, TX and gained rating for the B-24 at a base in Hutchinson, KS. As a reservist he was called back during the Korean War, trained in air intelligence and served on the island of Guam. His unit provided charts, maps and classified targeting information. He lives in Bella Vista, AR. (wholyhawley@cox.net) Winston Inslee served in the Navy from 1942-45, first in the Aleutians, and then on a small carrier in the South Pacific where he was involved in transporting planes to New Guinea. He lives on Sam Lake, near Seattle, WA. (360-652-3858) Albert Raymond "Ray" Kilpatrick served 20 years in the Air Force as a missile man. He says his study of chemistry and physics at Graceland gave him early training to work with intercontinental ballistic missiles like the Atlas, Titan and Minute Man missile systems.
