Once a Yellowjacket, always a Yellowjacket.
Whether you spectate, keep in shape, or kick, shoot, throw, hit, bump, or run your team to a national championship, Graceland athletics has something for everyone.
Sports are an integral part of life on campus. From our top-notch facilities to our commitment to providing opportunities for everyone to participate, we work hard to nurture a strong culture of sports and community at Graceland. Nearly half of our students play on a varsity (or jv) team and more than three fourths participate in our social-yet surprisingly competitive-intramural program.
Our varsity sports include:
- Baseball (+jv team)
- Basketball (men's and women's) (+jv teams)
- Cheer Squad
- Cross Country (men's and women's)
- Football (+jv team)
- Gadets (dance team)
- Golf (men's and women's)
- Soccer (men's and women's) (+jv teams)
- Softball (+jv team)
- Tennis (men's and women's)
- Track (men's and women's)
- Volleyball (men's and women's) (+jv teams)
Our teams would be nothing without our stellar coaches: they consistently help our students become All-America Athletes, All-America Scholar Athletes and HAAC Players of the Year. Not to mention taking honors themselves as HAAC Coaches of the Year in various sports. Graceland coaches are renowned for their passion and knowledge. They understand that your accomplishments as a student athlete-both in the classroom and in competition-are the measure of our success in creating a place where you can achieve your personal best.
