The Graceland University Heritage Club was established to recognize and honor those persons or families whose vision and commitment move them to perpetuate the growth and excellence of Graceland through a planned gift.
Anyone who provides for the University in their estate may become a member of the Graceland University Heritage Club. As members, the alumni and friends of Graceland University extend their influence for generations to come, by supporting the University in its mission to provide a quality education for promising and deserving students.
Annual events recognizing Heritage Club members are held on the Lamoni campus during Homecoming. Members will have their names placed on a permanent Heritage Club Roll of Honor displayed in the Harpham Heritage Chapel.
The Legacy Society recognizes deceased supporters of Graceland that achieved a lifetime or lifetime/estate gift combination total of $100,000 or more. Their names will appear in the Honor Roll of Donors beginning in 2009-10 to ensure their exemplary support is not forgotten.
We live in ever more complex and demanding times. We must build and maintain strong congregations that can share the message of hope and reconciliation with a world full of great needs.
Community of Christ Seminary has been established to help prepare ministers for these challenges. The leadership of the seminary believes strongly in the mission to which we are called. We also know that we need to enlist the invaluable help of others if we are to accomplish our shared vocation.
This is why we are forming a group known as Friends of the Seminary. We certainly do need material resources. We also need your prayers, your advice and your companionship in this exciting journey. We need to share our story with attentive listeners!
Please consider becoming a partner in the great enterprise of theological education. We are deeply grateful for the expressions of generosity that bless us daily.
