Graceland University has purchased five new Automated External Defibrillators (AED) that will soon be placed in the Commons, MSC, Shaw Center, and Library in Lamoni and on the Independence campus. As a benefit to employees and an initiative to make our campuses safer, basic CPR and AED training will be offered to employees.
Diane Bartholomew will be conducting CPR/AED training from 1 - 4 p.m. on Thursday, October 2, 9, and 16, in the MSC Conference Room. You need to be able to attend all three sessions for the entire time to be certified and receive your American Red Cross card.
Please get supervisor approval prior to registering for the class. Please email dory@graceland.edu if you would like to register for this class. Due to room constraints, we will only be able to accommodate 10 individuals in this class. Other classes will be offered later at different times/dates. Independence training will be scheduled at a later date as well.
