Sports Medicine Day
Graceland University and the Department of Health and Movement Science is excited to announce its inaugural Sports Medicine Day this Nov. 15, on the Lamoni campus. Students and their families are encouraged to attend this event as we explore our Corrective Exercise and Performance Enhancement (CEPE) and Athletic Training (AT) programs.
This unique opportunity will inform students about how Graceland can prepare them for viable careers in the sports medicine field, like: athletic training, exercise science, strength and conditioning, coaching, personal training and other manual therapy professions such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, chiropractic medicine, etc.
During the interactive Sports Medicine Day, students will learn about the dynamic and intensive curricula that build the knowledge and skills to restore the body’s natural biomechanics, optimize health and human performance, as well as reduce the risk of injury. Students will also get the opportunity to dive head first into our exciting sports medicine certificate programs. These certificate programs will be showcased through hands-on laboratories in Kinesio tape, the Graston Technique, corrective exercise, and performance enhancement.
Currently, Graceland is the only university in the entire nation to offer all four of these unique certifications. If you want to earn one or all of these nationally-recognized certifications, and learn how to optimize the performance of the human body, you MUST explore the distinctive CEPE and AT programs at Graceland University.
