All full-time employees are eligible for the following benefits. Part-time employees are eligible for health and dental insurance without a Graceland subsidy. Benefits begin the month after hire date. Premiums are deducted the month before coverage period.
Graceland offers three different health plan deductible levels to meet employee's needs. Health plan premiums are based on the annual salary of the employee and which deductible level chosen. Premiums are paid on a pre-tax basis and range from $22/month - $433/month. Graceland subsidizes the cost for employees.
Graceland offers dental insurance. Monthly premiums are deducted on a pre-tax basis and range from $14/month for single coverage to $50/month for family coverage. Graceland helps employees pay for this insurance plan.
Voluntary vision insurance is available to employees. Employees pay the full premium which ranges from $10/month for single coverage to $25/month for family coverage.
Graceland pays for life insurance equal to the employee's annual salary up to a maximum of $50,000. Graceland also provides $2,000 coverage on spouse and dependents. Supplemental life insurance is available for employee purchase.
Graceland pays for coverage on the employee equal to their annual salary. This insurance provides coverage 24 hours a day in the event of an accident. Optional coverage is available for purchase by the employee.
Graceland provides long term disability coverage. This insurance will replace 60% of wages in the event that the employee becomes disabled and unable to work for longer than 90 days. There is no cost to employees for this insurance.
Pre-tax money set aside for eligible medical expenses, day care expenses and outside insurance premiums is available at Graceland.
Employees hired after August 1, 2006, are eligible for a group 403(b) plan. Employees must complete 1,000 hours of service in the first year of employment to be eligible. Employees may contribute pre-tax or after tax money into this plan. Graceland will contribute a discretionary base contribution into eligible employees' plan after the first year. Graceland will also match employees' contributions fifty cents on the dollar up to six percent of the employee's pay after the first year of service. Employees do have to complete five years of service to be 100% vested in the Graceland contributions into the plan. Principal administers this plan.
Undergraduate tuition is covered by tuition remission at Graceland. Graceland also belongs to two tuition exchange programs. There are over 300 private college and universities all around the country that will also provide free tuition to our employees and their qualified dependents. A free Skillpath Seminar is available for employee development once a year.
