Nick Iachetta returns to the Yellowjacket program for his second year as full time goalkeeper coach.  Nick was utilized as a part-time goalkeeper coach during the 2006 National Championship season where he trained Isaac Unruh.  Under Nick, Isaac went on to have an unbeaten net during the National Tournament and earned MVP honors.  Nick also works closely with Fred Wagenaar assisting at times with the women's program.  During the 2007 season Nick's hard work was demonstrated as his goalkeeper's only allowed 13 goals in 21 games.  Carlos Ortiz, a junior goalkeeper out of Bogota Colombia received All-American honors for his efforts during the '07 season.

Nick graduated from Graceland in 2005 with a bachelor's degree in physical education and health/minor in psychology.  He also received an Iowa teaching certificate and holds one in Ontario as well.  Nick was a four year varsity player for the jackets and the only player in its history to start as both goalkeeper and field player.  He hails from Thunder Bay, Ontario where he was a member of the PDL's Thunder Bay Chill from 2000-03.  He was also an OFSAA gold/silver/bronze medalist.

Nick holds a national "D" license and is continuing his Master of Education.  He hopes to eventually attain a Ph.D.
