Music and Music Education majors participate in courses in music theory and analysis, music history and literature, conducting and arranging, ensemble and individual performances, and courses in the teaching of instruments and voice. Coursework is supported by a music laboratory which provides computer-assisted instruction in music theory, synthesis, composition and desktop publishing of professional quality manuscripts.
Vocal and instrumental soloists and ensembles perform on and off campus in a variety of settings.
Performance opportunities are available for majors and non-majors.
