On-Campus BSN-RN program achieves exceptional NCLEX success

NCLEX SUCCESS AGAIN!

How do we measure our BSN-RN graduate’s success?

A successful Graceland BSN-RN Nursing graduate is measured by reaching attainable goals. Our program is rigorous, so admission standards are set high. Consistently those who exceeded minimum admission standards have greater chance for success.

Accelerated Option admission criterion is set even higher than criterion for our traditional program. This and other factors contributed to the last three consecutive AO graduating classes achieving an NCLEX pass rate of 100%. (January, 2006, January, 2007 and January, 2008.)  In addition our traditional program graduating classes (May graduation) achieved an NCLEX pass rate of over 98% for the same three year period. This is well above the 90% program goal we set for ourselves!

We believe part of our graduate’s success is due to our ability to identify those who have the potential to be successful in our program through the use of our admission standards. A large contributing factor to our graduate’s success is small class sizes, tutoring though our unique faculty led tutoring (Program for Academic Success), completing a pre-admission ATI exam known as the TEAS, and last of all the inclusion of many other ATI resource materials and essential electronic exams modules threaded throughout the program. This combined with our unique curriculum, our knowledgeable and caring faculty and staff makes for a unique blend, contributing to highly skilled and knowledgeable graduates.

At Graceland the faculty know you by name!
